JEE Main 2027 Session-1 Registration Begins
Source: Official JEE Main Website The National Testing Agency (NTA) began the registrations for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains for Session-1. Eligible candidates who are interested can register for the entrance test by visiting the official JEE Main website. As per the official notification, the JEE Main 2027 examination will be held through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format in two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled to be held in January 2027 whereas Session 2 will be conducted in April 2027. The examination will also be held in two shifts on the scheduled date. Additionally, students are required to pay the examination fee while registering on the official website. The Joint Entrance Examination for Mains (JEE Main) is a national entrance examination held for admissions to B.Tech/ BE, B.Arch and B.Planning programmes at IITs, NITs, and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) across India. The examination will be held across 310 test cities with 301 being held in India and 9 overseas. The medium of instruction will be in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali. Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main website. Step 2: Under ‘Candidate Activity’, click on ‘Online Application Form for JEE (Main) 2027 – Session 1’. Step 3: On the redirected page, under ‘Register yourself for the above-mentioned examination’, select ‘New Registration’. Step 4: Read through the provided information carefully, fill in the declaration box and select ‘Click here to Proceed’. Step 5: Sign in to your account via DigiLocker using your mobile number or User ID. Step 6: You will receive your application number and password after on Digilocker. Step 7: Return to the JEE Main Session-1 link and under ‘Already registered Candidate’, select ‘Login’. Step 8: Enter your application number and password and click on ‘Log in’. Step 9: Access the application form and enter all the required details and upload the required documents. Step 10: Submit the application form and pay the application fees.
